A 2-part promotional strategy is a fabulous way to promote your
business at a summer event or sales product launch.
Here's how it works:
1) Target your prospective client base and mail the 1st part of your
promotion. It could be a pen, golf tees, etc. Preferably something
easily mailed to keep cost and logistics manageable.
2) When the recipients comes to your event they will receive the 2nd
and more valuable promotional item. Or it could be that "by attending,
your name goes into a draw" for a high premium gift.
3) The real beauty of this type of promotion is that you can actually
track the effectiveness of your campaign. You know how many Part 1
promos went our and now you can track how many followed through.
4) Be sure to use the event as an opportunity for your sales team to
set up possible appointments on site or to follow up at a future date
(preferably within a week) to set up an appointment with prospects.
